Awesome Backbone: The Most Important Part of Our Lives

Read: Psalms 121

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Psalms 121:3 KJV

The way the world is shaping today is a far cry different from the old school days.

Yes, we had our problems.

But they handled them in a better way.

The way we see things happening right now gives reason for great concern.

The safety of our loved ones, friends and ourselves is our top priority.

But we cannot always be there for one another.

That is where prayer is our greatest way of being there for each other.

Reaching this one friend that we all have in our lives.

The One that is there all the time, no matter the day or time.

It is the Lord.

He never slumbers or sleeps Psalms 121:3 KJV).

He is always looking, listening and ready to help us in our times of need.

That is why He is known as our guardian who never sleeps in Psalms 121 KJV.

We learn in this Psalms what it means to comfort ourselves in the Lord when we are faced with difficulties and dangers.

Every situation is covered, from our foot slipping. To the sun’s overwhelming heat, to life being taken (Psalms 121:3,5,6,7 KJV).

His wisdom and almighty power are what works to the safety of those that put themselves under the protection He provides each of us (Psalms 121:8 KJV).

We are not to stop caring for one another.

The Savior does not want us to get caught up with the ways of the world.

That is why it is important that we never forget that nothing can come near to us that the Lord is not nearer.

It is so gratifying to know that He is always watching over us.

That He wants us to live in harmony and peace.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, You are our Preserver and our Comforter. You are always near us for our protection and the refreshing of our spirit. You are always there to help keep us from falling into the hands of the enemy. This is a never-ending part of life. We want to be found doing what is pleasing in Your sight. Receiving all the blessings in this Psalms. Thank You for it all.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
