Best Understanding Of How To Be Used Of God

Read:  Jeremiah 1:1-10

Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 1:8

There are times in our lives when we are called to do something.

Because we feel that we don’t have the experience needed, we opt not to do it.

Forgetting that the opportunity would not have been offered if the person asking did not feel we were qualified to do it.

That is what often happens when we dismiss our responsibility to do something that God has placed in our heart to do.

We get scared but we should never let anything be a reason to avoid the direction God has for our lives.

Those who have messages to deliver from God, must not fear the face of man.

Jeremiah is just one example of God calling on someone to follow His lead to go out and spread the Word.

God had prepared Jeremiah to be “a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5).

But when he heard of God’s plans, he quickly tried to use his youth as an excuse not to speak to the people (v.6).

No matter our age, God knows who is able to do what needs to be done.

He will not accept our excuses, but will send who or what we need to succeed.

He enables us (v.7).

He is ever present (v.8).

He will always gives us the words to speak (v.9).

Don’t fear. Listen to God.

Remembering that when He calls on us to do a job, it is not us who is doing it.

He will be working through us.

That should calm all our fears of doing His Will.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, we know You have a plan for each of us. A plan You desire for each of us to complete. We will strive to do everything You ask of us. Thank You for providing the strength that we need to succeed.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
