The Bible speaks of our future.
Peter tells us that it’s words we must not ignore, because they shed light in dark places.
He exhorts those who have received the blessings of God to keep walking in the graces and virtues given us.
Our faith works godliness, and produces effects which no other grace in the soul can do.
We are pardoned, granted peace, grace, and knowledge. All given to us through the Holy Spirit.
When this happens, the Holy Spirit of God, is letting the light of the Scriptures surface in our blind minds and dark understandings.
It is like the breaking of day, when the Son is allowed to advance, and spread the Word through our whole souls, making for a perfect day.
Combine our faith with what we find in the Scriptures. Don’t ignore them and allow disasters to occur. Esteem and reverence the Bible as the book written by holy men, taught by the Holy Ghost.
Then watch and see how the light will shine in the dark places and in our lives. The Word is with us until the day dawns, and the day star arise in our hearts.
When we truly know and receive the Word, we can’t go wrong when we stand on It.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, Thank You fro sending a Word through Peter. Making known to us what the Scriptures and how they relate to the words of the Holy Ghost. That it all comes from God. Giving us the light we need to shine in dark places and the strength we need to press on. We know we could not make it without Your Power.
