Stay Motivated

Read: Philippians 3:7-21

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12 KJV

In life, we all have a desire to achieve certain goals.

We don’t always understand why things are happening the way they are.

Sometimes good and sometimes not so good.

But we know the ending we have in mind.

So, no matter the setbacks we face, we keep pressing on.

The same should hold true in our faith walk.

We should be expressing an earnest desire to be found in Christ.

Pressing towards the mark of perfection.

To be an example to someone else.

It’s just like being a runner in a race.

We are striving to win the race but are still just as determined to finish it no matter the outcome.

As Christians, we often perform the duties in our lives with the same enthusiasm.

We work hard and are motivated to complete that which the Lord has desired us to do.

Striving to know Him, make Him known to others and to serve others.

We are all running in the same race.

He who runs the race must never stop short of the end but press forward as fast as he can.

Let us press on to receive the eternal prize that God has promised.

A goal we all should be trying to achieve.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, let us all have an earnest desire to be found in You. To understand all that You desire for lives. That we will press on toward perfection. To be an example to others. Showing them that we all can reach the finish line, meet our goals, and receive the prize of eternal life.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
