Time Well spent

Read: Titus 2:9-15

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Titus 2:12 KJV

We all know there are twenty-four hours to each day.

Once the day is done, there is no going back.

The Father desires that we all use our time wisely.

That we deny things that are ungodly and worldly.

To live soberly, righteously, and godly.

To be conscious of that which is good.

So, when our lives come to an end, we will have a good story to tell.

One that would reflect that we had God-honoring priorities in our day to day lives.

If we aren’t doing it, now would be the time to change our ways and make the necessary adjustments.

The grace of God, in this chapter, is teaching us that we can do it.

That when we strive to do it, we allow the Holy Ghost to have control of our lives.

Making it possible for us to distribute our time properly and invest it wisely.

All we have to do is ask the Father, like Moses did, to “teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” (Psalms 90:12).

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, a wise person doesn’t just spend time, he invests it. You know how we redeem the time. We don’t always do it in the right way. Thank You for encouraging us to make sure we are living soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. So that the years of our lives will add up to something truly worthwhile.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
