Growing With Age

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing.  Psalms 92:13,14 KJV

Old age and living according to the Word are both blessings.

Even in old age, it does not stop us from getting the wisdom and knowledge God desires us to have. Giving us the ability to spread the Word on His behalf.

The Word is the wisdom and knowledge that continues to feed all of us. Helping us to flourish.

When an elderly person flourishes, they will tell you that it is by the Grace of God, by His Word and Spirit, that they have received all the virtue that keeps them alive, and makes them fruitful. That old age has not brought an end to their usefulness.

That they thankfully accept each passing year as a gift from God and an opportunity to be a blessing to someone else.  A chance to help bear more fruit for the Master.

We should all be so thankful to accept each passing year as a gift from God.  To be  bold in our actions, especially to attract the attention of others and not miss the opportunity, as we age, to bear fruit for His glory.

 A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we thank God that just because we are growing older, there is still a place for us in the work of the Kingdom. Hope and wisdom still abounds, giving us the strength we need to flourish in His courts.  Praying we are great examples and bearers of good fruit.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
