Life brings about many circumstances and situations. We must learn to be content in each one.
The apostle was often in bonds, imprisoned and without the things he needed for adequate living. But despite it all, he learned to be content, to think about his condition, and make the best of it.
When we let the pressures of life, pride, unbelief, and desires for the things we don’t have take precedence over our lives, we put ourselves in an unfavorable position.
Those are the times we need to pray and not lose our comfort in God.
We are not to let any condition cause us to yield to the temptations of the world.
Through Christ we have grace to do what is good, to be satisfied and pleased with our lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we give praise to You. For all the times You strengthened us when we were weak, fearful and headed in a wrong direction. We praise You for the love, grace and favor You bestow on us. For giving us the strength we need to survive. We couldn’t do it without You.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
