His Promising Orders Always Leads in the Right Direction

Read: Psalms 119:129-136

Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Psalms 119:133 KJV

We all look for guidance in something every day of our lives.

Be it how to repair something, to getting an excellent work out.

We look for guidance when dealing with the many personal things in life.

Especially the ones that can bring Biblical life or death.

We want to ensure we do things the right way.

Not letting anything lead us in the wrong direction.

That is where our faith in the Lord abounds.

The Psalmist understood what it meant to question whether he was headed in the right direction.

He knew what it meant to ask for divine assistance.

He prayed asking the Lord to “Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me” (Psalms 119:133-134 KJV).

Also saying, “Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes” (Psalms 119:135 KJV).

He wanted to make sure that he was doing things according to the Word.

Receiving great responses every time he prayed.

As Children of God, we want to make sure we are doing things the right way also.

We too can pray that the Lord would order our steps in His way.

That He would continue to lead and guide us every day.

Helping us to watch how we speak and to say the right things.

To do those things which are acceptable in His sight.

Knowing that when we do according to His will an anointing will always come our way.

We all should want to walk worthy and fulfill the calling He has placed in our lives.

Never forgetting that You have given us the Word as a never-changing guide.

One that “is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalms 119:105 KJV).

We can never go wrong when we order our steps in Your Word.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Order our steps in Your Word dear Lord. There is so much going on in the world today. We pray for Your anointing in handling everything we face in life. We know that Your Word always remains the same and we can depend on it. It is so true that there is none like You. Please continue to lead and guide us every day. Thank You for helping us walk worthy and according to Your will.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
