Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Philippians 2:3-4 KJV
During our lifetime we all have an opportunity to be there for someone else.
To be the one that has a heart filled with concern.
Having a willingness to volunteer and devote their time to assisting anywhere there is a need.
There are great testimonies to be heard.
They are regarding a wide range of all the blessings that have been felt all over the world.
It is always wonderful to hear about the needs of others being met.
The blessings shown are just the beginning of ways to glorify the Lord.
We all should desire to take heed of what Paul was saying in Philippians 2.
It is a reminder that as believers we are to take the time to look beyond our needs and our own interests.
Always keeping in mind that nothing that we do should be done in strife.
To understand that there is someone out there that needs to know that they are not alone.
God is love.
We all want to experience the benefits of God’s compassion. And we do.
As His children, we should desire the same for others.
Always keeping in mind that nothing that we do should be done in strife.
There is so much to be gained when we exhibit a Spirit that is kind and humble.
Lives are changed when they experience the power of His love.
Be the one to follow this command.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we are thankful that You are there for us. Teaching us what it means to look beyond ourselves and to look to the needs of others. Just like You did when You sacrificed Your life for us on Calvary. Every time we heed Your Word and do things in a heartfelt way, we all will have peace and joy in our lives. Thank You for showing us that love for one another has great meaning. That it is our best way to honor You.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
