Can You See the Sensational Rainbow Brightly Shining?

Read: Genesis 9:8-17

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:13 KJV

Sometimes there is a steady falling of rain.

They sometimes turn into storms.

But they can soon end.

Then there is the shining of the sun forming a rainbow.

In the Bible, the rainbow is the symbol of God’s covenant between Him and man (Genesis 9:13).

A promise that He would not be judging the man’s wickedness by a flood in the future.

He sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.

That for those who were trusting in Christ, the wrath of sin would never fall on them.

His mercy would be shown to those who turned from sinful ways and followed His lead.

Recognizing that Jesus bore it all for us.

God’s love for us is seen through the rainbows that occur in our lives.

They appear when we have the most reason to fear the rains will govern our lives.

One of the ways He reminds us of His promise.

The one that says rain will not prevail in our lives.

That through faith the Sun will always shine.

Christ is the Sun of righteousness.

The rainbow and the cross are both symbols of God’s love for us.

God gives us the freedom to accept all He has for our lives.

It is up to us,

If we don’t know Him or lost our way, look to Calvary.

There we will always see how He bore all our sins on the cross and made a way for the rainbows to shine in our lives.

Reject Him no longer.

He still has a desire to save all who will come to Him.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, rainbows are so beautiful. They are full of color and bright. They are a part of Your gracious promise. They reflect the protection You grant us during the times of a storm. The more we think about them, the easier it is to trust and believe. To see the blessings that come when we live according to Your Word. Selah!

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
