Freely Giving: It’s The Greatest Gift Anyone Can Give

Read: Isaiah 55:1-4

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Isaiah 55:1 KJV

There are many ways to give freely and lovingly.

All over the world there are people and organizations that freely give to others.

They know what it means to be there for others in a time of need.

There are signs by the road letting others know they are giving away “bags of blessings”.

Signs in front of churches inviting those in need of prayer to come on in.

It is always a good feeling to know that so many sacrifice their time to show love to others.

Even more, it feels good to see the joy and appreciation in those who are receiving the blessings.

That they feel the love the Lord has for all of us.

It reminds us of how the prophet invited people to freely come.

He said, “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price” (Isaiah 55:1 KJV).

He knew about the needs of the people.

Even the Lord gave an invitation to us when He said, “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink” (John 7:37 KJV).

We all need a refreshing drink of the Word and the satisfaction it brings.

The greatest invitation the Lord gave was the one of salvation.

Salvation is free because our Savior already paid the price through His death and resurrection.

It is the best free offer to man.

One that everyone should want to get.

“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him” (Psalms 34:8 KJV).

Everyone has an open invitation to receive freely the blessings of the Savior.

Through our Savior, there is enough for us all.

Salvation is free.

It had already been bought for a price.

Christ is our Leader and our Commander.

He is the One to show us what to do and enable us to do it.

It is up to us to humble ourselves and follow Him.

Continue to read the Word and accept all that it has to offer.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that salvation is free, but it is up to us to accept it. It is the greatest gift that the Lord has given to mankind. We will always have something to give when we believe in Christ and live according to the Word. Salvation is free to those who truly receive it. Through Him we will always have something to give to someone else. Because of Your blessings there is enough for us all. Thank You for freely giving to us and making it where we can freely give.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
