And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. Exodus 33:14 KJV
There is a time and a place for everything.
Sometimes we get surprised.
We try to make our plans, but they don’t always turn out the way we want.
It is always good to know that there is someone there keeping us in their thoughts and prayers.
But even if we never have a family member, friend, or a church member available to be there, we can always count on the Lord.
The circumstance we face requires us to step out in faith.
Those are the times we must trust that God who loves us has us in His hands.
Moses was a man called of God and had the desire for Him to be with Him.
He was dreading the thought of going forward on his mission without the Lord being with him.
We are not to forget about God’s gracious promises.
All the mercies He has for us.
They should not only encourage our faith, but also excite our desire to show our belief and feelings of great warmth in prayer.
Because just like He told Moses, “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest” (Exodus 33:14 KJV), He is doing the same for us.
Our Heavenly Father will always be near us in any situation we face.
There will never be a difficulty too big to
overcome.
There will always be a time when we feel like we are alone.
Sometimes more often than we like.
But we are not.
Those are the times our faith must step in and remind us that with the Lord on our side, we can face whatever comes our way.
If He did it for Moses, He will surely do it for us.
Trust and believe.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we know in the times of trouble, we can call on You. We take comfort in it both day and night. There is nothing like being able to delight in Your presence. It is the only way we find true hope for our salvation. Thank You for always being there, through the good and the bad.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
