Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised). Hebrews 10:23 KJV
With any profession, we must go through years of education, some type of training, and experience.
We all have a desire to succeed.
We want to continue to grow in our position.
Giving us the ability to do something that is needed and is meaningful to our lives.
To the lives of others.
No matter what our profession may be, we are to work at it with all our heart.
To do it as if we are working for the Lord.
Because the fact of the matter is, we are.
By faith, we confessed our sins.
Having a determination to live according to the Word.
We are not giving up on what we know to be best for our lives.
Accepting the position of a disciple.
Upon acceptance, we promised to acknowledge to those around us about His goodness and mercies.
Giving thanks to Him for all He is doing in our lives.
Each day we grow more in our faith as we take the time to read the Word.
Praying and listening to what He says.
“[Holding] fast the profession of our faith without wavering” (Hebrews 10:23).
Always thinking about how we can be of assistance to one another.
Showing love and doing good work.
Remaining steadfast and persevering in all we do.
Our blessing comes when we do as He says.
Listening with our whole heart.
Only good comes when we live by faith.
He is the best Leader when it comes to faithfulness.
We can’t go wrong when we follow His lead.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we recognize all that You have done and will be doing in our lives. Let us hold tight to the hope we have in You. Through the good and bad. Growing each day in faith. We are not giving up. We are holding fast to the profession of our faith. Thank You for the Word and the reminders of Your faithfulness.
