And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9 KJV
There is not one person here on earth that does not like to hear someone show gratitude for the things they are doing.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to be appreciated.
But there will be times when we don’t receive them and should not take offense because of it.
Our comfort comes in knowing that by the grace of God we were able to do it and He knows what we did.
Always remembering that while doing the work of the Lord we will always run into someone who may seem like they are not listening to what we are saying.
That really does not mean they aren’t.
Many are set in their ways and some just don’t feel they can properly express how they feel.
The way they express themselves can sometimes make them feel they are in control even though inside they are struggling.
At any rate, we are doing as instructed by the Savior to plant the seed of faith.
And as life goes on there will hopefully be someone else who crosses their paths.
That with those contacts, God’s Word continues to water what they have heard.
“Let us know be weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (Galatians 6:9 NIV).
This present time is seed time.
Everyday someone will cross our paths.
You could be the one planting the seed or the one watering it.
A look, a smile, or a warm word of love could be all it takes to open the hearts of someone to receive the Lord.
As followers we must take care to do good in our lifetime and make this the business of our lives.
Knowing when we reach our Heavenly place, we shall reap all that we have sown here on Earth.
For our obedience to what the Lord has told us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, there is nothing like being able to do good to all we encounter.
We know all too well how sometimes there will be some that make our journey difficult. But our strength to keep going comes from You. We will strive daily to not be weary in our well doings. We know we receive blessings right now, they are always increasing, and we know they will be overflowing when our journey is done. Thank You Savior.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
