Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7 KJV
We can all have caring moments of self-pity, and regrets.
They are usually of past problems and memories that we keep thinking about and crying over.
They are burdensome, and often very sinful.
They come because of unbelief and distrust.
They cause us pain and distract our minds.
Thus, making us unable to perform our duties.
They take away our delight in the service of God.
The remedy for all of it is to cast our care upon Him.
To leave every event to His wise and gracious disposal.
We are to “humble [ourselves] therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt [us] in due time” (1 Peter 5:6).
It is something we all must work at and achieve.
We do this by, “Casting all [our cares] upon Him; for He careth for [us]”(1 Peter 5:7).
That would be all our personal cares, family cares, those for others, fthose or the church, as well as things of the present, and things of the future.
Remember, all our cares, not just some of them.
Going forward, let us all remember that instead of carrying the burdens that hinder us, give them to Jesus.
Our firm belief in His wisdom, power, and goodness will help us make it through anything we face.
What a relief we all will feel when we learn to no longer be bound by sorrow and the stress that life can bring.
All because we leaned to leave it in His hands.
The Mighty Hands of the One who cares about us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we know that the devil wants to destroy our faith and belief. To cause eternal ruin to our souls. Let us remain steadfast in the Word. Keeping ourselves in a position to prevent anything that would cause us harm. We are thankful that we have the best way of doing it when we can cast all our cares on You. We can give them to You and leave them there. Never to worry about them any longer. Thank You for taking care of it all.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
