Health and nutrition have always been a concern, all over the world.
We now live in a time when more is being said about it.
It is talked about so much that we hear so many conflicting opinions.
So many that it is hard to determine what to believe.
It is good to know that there is one source we can believe.
One source that we know will never change.
The Bible.
It tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).
And we have a special obligation to care for them.
That is why we should be getting proper rest and do everything possible to provide for our physical well-being.
Proverbs 17:22 NIV tells us one way we can accomplish this.
It tells us, “A merry heart does good like a medicine.”
Being emotionally content and in good physical health have a definite relationship with one another.
When we decide to have a happy and cheerful view of our lives it has a healing effect.
But it doesn’t just happen.
We have to have a sound relationship with God and those around us.
Our joy results as we allow the Holy Ghost to work in our lives.
He knows exactly what we need to lead a positive and happy life.
The more we live under His control and our sins are forgiven, the more we will experience the wonderful things God has for our lives.
Our personal faith in God makes all of this happen.
As we walk in obedience to His Word and in His presence, we find peace and joy.
It is said that a merry heart is good medicine with no bad side effects.
Try It for yourself.
When used as prescribed, the results are great!
