Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37 KJV
It is not uncommon for us to want to protect the ones we love.
No matter their age or where they live, we want to make sure they are taken care of.
We desire to keep them safe from all hurt, harm, and danger.
The more protection any of us have, we are able to handle any situation.
As Christians, we have the best source for protection.
By faith in Christ, we have been saved from condemnation for eternity (Romans 8:1).
But with the way society is, there are still chances when we can find ourselves damaged by sin and the evil around us.
That is why it is good to know that we have the best form of protection there is.
Through the Word, “in all these things we are more than conquers” (Romans 8:37).
God gives us all the protection we need through the Word (Psalms 119:9-11).
We are guarded through our prayers (Philippians 4:6-7).
None of us should hesitate to change the way we think about things (Romans 12:1-2).
With the right people in our lives, we find strength that is beneficial (Proverbs 13:20).
With the peace He provides we feel secure (Philippians 4:8-9).
It is to our benefit to realize that God loves us and is always there to protect us.
It is up to us to keep living according to the Word.
The Word is the greatest protection for any of us to have.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we are thankful for the part You play in our lives. Let us be more mindful that we have a part to play also. That You are always there to protect us, and we have to take the right steps to protect ourselves too. That it can only be done when we live according to the Word. We are thankful for the protection You give to us all.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
