And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6 KJV
We all have a common goal in mind.
We have a desire to do something good for others as well as ourselves.
We take the time to understand what will be required to succeed.
We are not to let our personal desires get in the way of completing the goals set.
That is why all our goals should have a spiritual base.
The guidance set in the Word is always the best ones to follow.
We cannot fail when we do.
Everything that is done according to God’s guidelines is going to be successful.
It all begins when we decide to give our lives to Christ.
We become a members of His family.
All our sins have been forgiven and a new journey has begun.
We are now members of a family that was created to do the will of God.
Together we are learning about the purpose to which He is preparing us for.
We all have an important part to play.
He is constantly blessing us with the knowledge we need to be successful.
How, despite the difficulties we face, what we do is helping someone else.
In all we do, we have to keep our trust in Jesus as our Savior.
Remembering that because we are “in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6), we have free access to God’s favor in this life.
All our sins have been forgiven.
Living proof, able to tell others about God’s favor.
Even more, His favor gives us never-ending hope of our entering heaven’s glory (Ephesians 2:7).
We are to daily put our trust in Christ.
He died on the cross to pay for our sins.
By His grace we are saved (v,5).
Giving us the opportunity join with Him on this mission.
A mission that ends with us passing through Heaven’s gates.
Sitting together with Him in heavenly places.
This is the best membership this world will ever see.
We all should desire to be raised up together and sit together with Him in heavenly places (v.6).
The fellowship is great.
There is no better place to be.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, our relationship with You and the mission You’ve established has great meaning. Being a part of it has opened many doors for us to use what we learn from You. The wonderful feeling we have when it is all said and done, is worth every minute we spend doing them. Thank You for giving us the wisdom we need to succeed. Thank You for it all.
