But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19 KJV
We all know someone who has needed something, and they didn’t know how or where their help would come from.
There are times we all have felt this way.
These times can be troubling, but as we pray and wait, we know the Lord is taking care of it.
He said He would be there to supply all our needs (v.19).
He always has a plan for our lives.
People He has placed in our lives to help fulfill those needs.
Ones who not only feels concern for those in trouble, but desires to do what they can to help.
Be it just by listening or telling them about where the Lord had brought them from.
The Bible tells us about an apostle, Paul, that was often in bonds, in prison, and had needs.
That even with all that was going on in his life, he learned to be content, to maintain how he thought about things, even though he didn’t know how he would make it.
He talked about his deep love for his church, talked about his joy toward them, and how he longed to see them again.
Even though he was going through He could feel the need to encourage them and remind them keep the faith.
To continue to walk steadily in what they know is truth.
He was walking in faith (Hebrews 11:1) and knew they could do it too.
Knowing that without faith it was impossible to please God and finding comfort in knowing that God is the rewarder of them that truly worship and believe in Him (Hebrews 11:6).
He knew that God is faithful to keep His promises and was making the best of his situation.
It takes a lot of faith to keep a sound mind during these circumstances.
His experiences made it possible for him to testify of God’s goodness.
That is what we must do too.
In our lowest state, we are not to lose our belief in God.
It isn’t always easy but, we need to have faith in “what we do not see”.
Not to doubt that we are under His protective care.
Because we are.
He is aware of what is happening in our lives.
Always there to point us in the right direction.
Remembering that we can rest in God’s goodness and loving arms.
Always trusting in His perfect wisdom, no matter how long it takes.
Our belief in God is the foundation that allows us to have this confidence.
Making it possible for us to stop worrying about tomorrow, because He is already there taking care of all our needs.
Putting us in the best position to testify of His goodness to others.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that through Christ we have the grace that allows us to do what is good. That through Him we can expect a reward when we follow His leading. Thank You for Your faithfulness to always take care of us. May we keep trusting and resting in Your perfect love.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
