Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:21 KJV
Daily we should take the time to think about how God is working in our lives.
His desire is to make a covenant with each of us.
A covenant that was offered when Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
Things come to life when we read the Scriptures and see how He is with us every step of the way.
When we think about it and pray about it, we really begin to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We know that God is near us and working in us.
Always helping those of us who love Him to face any challenges while giving us joy.
The writer of the letters to the Hebrews is talking about the wonderful workings God is doing for His followers.
Some of the things as His followers they should be doing.
In his closing, he prays that God would “Make [them] perfect in every good work to do [His] will, working in [them] that which is wellpleasing in [His] sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (v.21).
The same holds true for our lives.
As followers, every good work that we do is the work of God.
The things that are pleasing to Him.
That as we do, we bring glory to His name.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, daily, You are opening our eyes so we might see and understand the calling You have in each of our lives. You have always given us what we need to do Your will. There is always a spreading of joy and peace in and through us as we walk with You. We pray that we continue to do those things which are pleasing in Your sight.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
