Expect More: Get Great Hope Beyond Your Wildest Dreams

Today’s Reading: Ephesians 3:20-21 KJV

Today’s Verse: “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us; Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20, 21 KJV

This is a well-known Bible verse. The Apostle Paul wrote this ending as a prayer of praise. He was praying that the Ephesians would understand how wide, long, high, and deep the love of Christ is.

His words were an expression of awe at God’s boundless nature.

It is an encouragement to all believers to pray boldly to God. Faithfully expecting that God can and will answer in ways that exceed our expectations.

This is a great reminder that we can always find comfort in Him when things are difficult. When things seem impossible.

It is a reminder of God’s intimate power. A reminder of His desire to bless, His desire to work through us. It goes beyond human limitations.

It assures us that God can accomplish things far beyond our prayers. Beyond our thoughts. Beyond our imagination. That it is through the power of the His Spirit working within us.

He is always transforming our lives. He is always empowering us to do His work.

He wants us to realize that His power is not just to grant personal wishes. They are to bring Him glory. A glory that is to be recognized and celebrated. We can do it within our places of worship and through Christ for all generations and eternity.

God is always capable of bringing about solutions or a peace that we could never achieve on our own.

Thank You Father for Your amazing grace. For always being there for us.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we give You all the praise. When we acknowledge Your goodness, we can expect more and ask for more. We will always ask to be encouraged by what Christ has already done for our souls. Always being assured that the conversion of sinners, and the comfort of believers, will be to Your glory, forever and ever. It is always proper to end prayers with praise. Hallelujah! We give You all the glory, honor, and praise. We are thankful for all You have done for us. For all that You will do in our lives.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
