Faith Outstanding – Now is the Time to Testify

Read: Acts 10: 34-43

And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

Acts 10:42 KJV

Every one of us has been a witness to something.

Some of us have been called to testify in court.

Giving an account of what we know about the situation.

When we think about it, to be a witness in court closely resembles our witnessing for Christ.

When we are witnesses for Him, we tell what we have seen.

We testify to what He has done in our lives.

As one who has witnessed the transforming power of Christ (Acts 10:42 KJV).

To tell others about His saving grace and all He desires to do for each of us.

Making sure that there is nothing added to make it more interesting or exciting.

We must ensure what we are saying is the plain truth.

Because we are all accountable to Christ as our Judge.

We all want to gain favor in His sight.

To be justified by grace through faith.

We know there will be times when we have concerns about speaking out.

Those are the times we have to remember that what we say can influence another person’s eternal destiny.

So let us be ready to testify when we are called to do so.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, we know You and we know You desire for us to tell others about You. Take control of our words today. Make it where we can freely tell of Your great love and grace. Let our testimonies turn the heart of someone today. That they desire to receive the blessings You have for them. Thank You for letting us be an example of how with You all things are possible.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
