From the Beginning to Forever

Read: Psalms 119:153-160

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Psalms 119:160 KJV

We may not always know for sure just what is right thing to do.

There might be a time when we do something that is justifiable.

In the case of a life-or-death situation, you may need to obtain some supplies without paying for them right then to aid somebody.

I don’t think that should be considered stealing.

It was someone doing something good.

Putting the need of someone else before their own.

Our best way of understanding what is right or wrong is when we hold close to the Word.

Using it as our rule and what we stand on to ensure we stay delivered from sin.

God’s Word is always true.

His mercies are tender, and they are a fountain that never runs dry.

Just like the psalmist, we should be asking God to revive us and endow us with His quickening grace.

We are to be steady in our ways of the duties we have.

Having no fears of the many enemies that come our way.

Knowing that God’s Word is always true, and our enemies are defeated.

It stands against the raging tide.

Against those who criticize and try to work their evil plans.

It stands against the gates of hell.

We want our obedience to the Lord to be pleasing.

Looking to the Bible for God’s standards and living by them.

Standing boldly and telling everyone we know that God’s Word will stand.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, truth is much more reliable than anything we could ever come up with. Your Word is full of truth. We may not if what we are about to do is right. That’s when we need to seek Your guidance. Through the Word, we learn how our obedience to You is pleasing. How we will stay on the right track. Especially when it is done in a loving way. No matter the age, anyone who receives the Word in faith and love will see that everything in it is faithful and true. That we can’t go wrong when we stand on the Word.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
