Today’s Reading: Habakkuk 2:1-4
Today’s Verse: “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:2 KJV
When writing a vision, it helps to guide us in our decision-making.
When a vision is formed, it serves as a filter to aid in our daily activities. Our actions align with long-term goals.
Habakkuk 2:2 KJV is Divine instructions. The prophet documents the messages. Recording a message about future judgment and hope.
He wants to make sure that it can be understood. Someone would pass it on. It could be trusted. Even if its fulfillment was delayed.
When we break it down, we get an understanding of what it means for our lives.
God commanded Habakkuk to record the message. It was to preserve it. Not to be forgotten. Writing it down was a way to validate it for future generations. A way of showing that God’s Word is reliable.
In large clear letters it was written. Making it plain for all to read. They were mostly written on clay tables. Some on stone tables. They were displayed publicly. A way to ensure that it was accessible. It would be so clear that it could not be confusing with anything else.
The goal. To spread it quickly.
Understanding the message should be every reader’s goal.
The verse strongly recommends recording our messages. Thinking about it daily. Acting on His Divine guidance. Not to find ourselves daydreaming. Follow His lead. The more we do, we learn to wait patiently for the fulfillment to come.
Have faith. Keep records. Be patient. This helps every vision come to pass at the “appointed time” (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV).
Acknowledge that God’s vision for your life will be accomplished in His perfect timing. Declare it with confidence.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we ask for Your Divine wisdom to clearly define and document Your-given goals for our lives. We want to run with purpose, not aimlessly. Give us the strength to speak the vision clearly. To have the patience to wait for Your guidance. For Your appointed time for fulfillment. We want to remain focused. We do not want to let anything distract us from seeing the vision come to pass. Thank You for Your Divine guidance.
