Read: Mark 7:1-13
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Mark 7:6 KJV
In this world there will always be a time when true support is needed.
Unfortunately, we will have someone in our lives that may express their support in words, but it is not shown in their actions.
Words can be easily said without true meaning.
Someone can have a smile on their face, but their heart is not there.
Real support comes from the heart, not just what we say to someone.
The Father desires that we do everything from the heart.
Anything else is unacceptable.
The same holds true with our worship.
He does not want us to give false expressions of worship (Mark 7:6 KJV).
It is unacceptable in His sight.
True worship requires us to do it with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.
We are to worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24 KJV).
Showing that we know God is worthy of all our praise.
It is in our best interest to remember that no matter the situation to be grateful for God’s mercy and compassion.
A song of true praise in our hearts will always put a true smile on our face.
One that is pleasing to the Father.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that there is meaning in the words we speak. The words we speak should come from the heart. Changing the words we speak can sometimes be easy. But changing our hidden attitude can be hard. We are to always showing we have a spirit of love and gratitude. Our words should reflect all the love You have shown us. There is such a great future that lies before us. Great as we learn more about speaking from the heart. Thank You for all the knowledge we get from Your teachings.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
