Great Hope Found When Our Backs Against the Wall

Read: Romans 8:31-39

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35 KJV

Jesus died on the cross all to demonstrate the love that He and the Father has for us.

There will be some days when we feel like our backs are against a wall with no way out.

Feelings that often make us think there is no way out.

Those are the times we must remind ourselves that the Lord is standing by with outstretched arms.

Reminding us that we can always come to Him.

He sees and cares about everything we are going through.

We are not to let any troubles, or anything weaken our faith and keep us from accepting His love.

Once we have accepted Christ in our lives, as a believer and faith abounds, nothing can separate us from Him.

It shall be as Paul has said, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” (Romans 8:35 KJV).

We will confidently answer as he did.

That there is nothing that can remove us from God’s love in Christ (Romans 8:38-39 KJV).

Never forgetting that when our backs are up against a wall, and no matter our circumstance, God is there with open arms.

Telling all who will listen that the same holds true for them also.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, there are so many things that can cause us harm. Things that cause us to fall short of You Word. Things we know that no matter the circumstance You are there for us. That it is up to us to remember that nothing can separate us from Your love. Thank You for always being there when we feel are backs are against a wall and cannot see our way out. We appreciate it all.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
