We have all had our moments of sorrow.
Where we have had a feeling of deep distress.
It could have been caused by loss, disappointment, or other misfortunes suffered by us or others.
Wondering when things would change.
David was going through many different situations in his life, but he made it through.
When we read about them, they are encouraging.
He shows us that no matter our situation, God can turn it around.
Even though it may not always or feel like we had hoped it would be, we can still be confident that God’s way was the best way for us.
So much so, that we can break out into a joyful dance and give Him praise.
We can always cry out for His mercy and celebrate the hope He has brought to many a weeping soul.
Only God can change our circumstances into joy.
With His loving arms around us, we find comfort and peace.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know we must expect to meet with temptations and afflictions. That even when we grow careless, let life’s struggles weigh us down and we fall into sin, You are there. We need You and pray that You will continue to hold us close. We trust You and will change worries to praise.
