Talents are the unique, natural abilities possessed by individuals.
Ones that we should utilize to better the world we live in.
We all have God-given talents. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11 KJV)
They are spiritual gifts given to each of us so we can help each other.
Given to us because of God’s workmanship.
We are wonderfully made to do good works.
Paul sent a letter to the Ephesians about their purpose in the world.
In the letter, he described them as God’s handiwork.
Because of God’s handiwork, we can utilize the talents He has given us. All to His glory.
But when God handmade us for His purposes, and we acknowledged it, He was able to use us to bring others toward His great love.
We all have a purpose in this world.
Let us not take what God has crafted in us for granted.
When we do, we allow ourselves to sin and conform to the things of the world.
God’s eternal love or good-will toward his creatures, is the fountain whence all his mercies flow to us.
That love is a great love, and that mercy is rich mercy.
Every one of us that is a saved sinner, is delivered from sin and its wrath.
The grace that saves is the free, undeserved goodness and favor of God.
He saves, not by the works of the law, but through faith in Christ Jesus.
We can never be saved by our own good works.
Through God’s handcrafting of us, we have the talents needed to experience His love and purpose for our lives. Allowing us to demonstrate His handiwork to others.
That is where His workmanship is truly displayed.
What has God created you to do?
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we are Your workmanship. Designed for a purpose to which You have prepared us. Prepared us, by blessing us with the knowledge of Your will. May the salvation we received be an encouragement to others to repent of their sins and receive the grace and mercy You have for them.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
