Today’s Reading: Numbers 6:22-27
Today’s Verse: “The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” Numbers 6:26 KJV
Every day we need a blessing. We want our day to be filled with peace.
In this chapter, our Father is speaking and delivering instructions to Moses. Moses was instructed to pass it on to the children of Isreal.
He was talking to him about the laws of the Nazarite vow. About the priestly blessings to be spoken by Aaron and his sons.
The message was their confirmation that God was smiling down on them. They were under His protective gaze. He was giving them the gift of tranquility and divine peace (shalom).
Our blessings are not a human invention. It is God’s Words placed in the hearts and mouths of every believer to receive His blessings.
God’s face is always turned towards us, and it is not always in anger. He wants to show us His pleasure, attention, and favor.
Just like the Israelites, He grants us the gift of peace. Total wholeness. We are content. We have satisfaction.
Our blessings are personal. He focuses on our individual needs. He watches over us with love and grace.
So, expect the blessing from the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, Expect the love of the Father. Expect the communion of the Holy Ghost (2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV).
Your days can be filled with peace, Shalom!
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we come to You in prayer according to Your word. May the Lord bless us and keep us safe from all evil. Make Your face shine upon us. Continue to be gracious to us. Pour out Your mercy and favor. Look upon us with pleasure and grant us Your peace. A peace that goes beyond our understanding. Guard our hearts, Lord. Thank You for total wholeness, safety, and peace.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
