Great Joy – This is a Proven Blessing in Life

Today’s Reading: John 15:7-11

Today’s Verse: “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” John 15:11 KJV

This joy I have, the world did not give it to me and the world cannot take it away.

As the Father loved Christ, who was most worthy, so He loved his disciples, who were unworthy.

Jesus had a desire for His disciples. He wanted them to experience a deep, lasting, and fulfilling joy. One that was rotted in their relationship with Him.

In John 15:4-6, Jesus tells us that even as a branch must be connected to the vine to bear fruit, we as believers must remain connected to Him. This is our way to experience His joy.

We will face many trials. Times we shed many tears. But the one thing we can always be sure of, God is always nearby.

When we look to Jesus, He will give us great joy.

Every day we are blessed to receive gifts of joy, peace, and the Holy Spirit. Blessings that cannot be taken away by external circumstances.

All that love the Saviour should continue in their love for Him.

We should take every opportunity to show it.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know the joy of the hypocrite is but for a moment. That the joy of those who abide in Christ’s love is a continual feast. We show our love to You by keeping Your commandments. May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in thy sight our Lord and our Redeemer. We want our joy to be full.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
