Read: Isaiah 5:18-23
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isaiah 5:20 KJV
In our day-to-day lives, evil can sometimes wear a mask.
Evil is present in many ways, but most of all mankind.
There will be people who cause things to happen in our lives with the hope of getting us to forget about what the Father has told us.
They will try to get us to turn what the Father has told us in the opposite direction.
The Father was warning us about this behavior.
Through the ministry of the Prophet Isaiah He spoke about how the reversal of moral values took place in Israel.
Isaiah even said unto the people, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20 KJV).
It was a stern warning that some took to heart and others did not.
This warning still holds true to this day.
The more we learn to stand on the word, the more we are victorious.
We overcome evil with good.
We conquer all the things not of God.
All the things that the enemy tries to bring into our lives if we let him.
There will always be someone who is not following God’s way.
They will constantly challenge the truth we find in the Word.
Trying to get us to follow their lead.
A lead that only leads to troubled times.
An even greater reason for us to continue to study the Word.
Memorizing and meditating on what the Father is trying to tell us.
It is the best way for us to forever be able to ensure we know the difference between what is good or evil.
We know that good is of God and that evil is of the enemy.
The Father will always give us wisdom we ask for and truly seek it.
Prayer is the key, and our faith will unlock many Divine doors.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we all know that it is not Your desire for man to have a heart of evil. That You want what is right and good for us. Help us not to let the things of this world cause us to stray from the Word. Make it where we are steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the Word. Thank You for Your undying love and the strength You give us to defeat the enemy. Going forward let us continue to stand firm on the Word.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
