Kingdom Success, The Best, No Competition, Every Position Important

READ: Romans 12:1-8

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Romans 12:3 KJV

Knowledge, skills, and abilities.

We all have them in different areas.

The problem is that there are some who try to put themselves in positions that someone else is better qualified to do.

Pride is standing in the way.

We see it happening all the time.

Pride is a sin in us by nature.

That is why we need to be cautioned and armed against it.

It happens in the world and in our spiritual lives.

The Apostle Paul even told us that we all have gifts and how they differ according to the grace that God has given each of us (Romans 12:6 KJV).

The Lord has a position for each of us.

He knew there would always be someone trying to do something that someone else is better qualified.

That is why the Lord advises us against it (Romans 12:3 KJV).

When we study the Word, the Lord will show us how to really see what our true calling may be.

The knowledge He gives keeps us from being proud.

Always giving us the guidance, we need to see our place in the body of Christ and how to function effectively in it.

We all have a part as one in the body of Christ.

He knows the position we are fitted for.

Let us take the time to look at our strengths and weaknesses and ask the Lord to show us our place in His plan.

When we realize this, all our efforts work for the good.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, help us to set our pride aside. It is one of many sins that causes grief. We know that all have been given the ability to do certain things. We know we can serve You more faithfully and effectively when we look at our weaknesses and strengths. Thank You for giving us the guidance, we need to see our place in the body of Christ and how to function effectively in that position.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
