Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Acts 2:33 KJV
There are times when we will hear someone speak about something that can be beneficial to our lives.
We listen to what they say, have our doubts, but, deep down inside, hope that what they say is true.
We want to trust and believe.
That is probably how the Jews felt when Peter spoke to them about the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost working together as One (Acts 2:14-36).
He wanted them to know that Jesus is both Lord and Christ.
How His resurrection did away the disappointment of His death.
That He was God’s Holy One.
Sanctified and set apart to do His service in the work of redemption to mankind.
Inviting them to repent, be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost.
That through this union it would provide them the freedom from the guilt of sin.
Deliverance from the power of death.
Giving them the ability to do the work of the Lord.
To live a blessed life forevermore
What Peter said still holds true to this day.
God still desires for all mankind to see and hear this truth.
The truth about the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost coming together and working as One.
Making it possible for all to repent, be baptized, and receive the Holy Ghost.
To live a sin-free life and be blessed forevermore.
Let us humbly accept this Biblical truth and live according to His Word.
Trust and believe.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that there is a union between Yourself, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. How You desire for us to be a part of that union too. How that is possible when we repent of our sins, be baptized, and receive the Holy Ghost. The more we hear the Word and see You work in our lives, we know we are blessed.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
