Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Psalms 37:3,7 KJV
Patience shows that we have the capability to accept and handle things in a manner without getting angry or upset.
It allows us to calmly address our situations.
Every believer who is trying to do God’s will learns the importance and need to be able to do this.
We are to be completely humble and loving in the way we handle things.
David reminds us to “trust in the Lord and do good” (v.3).
To “rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him” (v.7).
To leave our outcome in His hands.
Not to lose focus and no matter what the enemy tries to throw our way.
When we do this, we receive the blessings He so desires to give us.
In everything that we try to accomplish, when we remain steadfast in the Word, we will have the victory.
It is great to know that God will make all things work for our good.
We cannot lose when we have the faith needed to stay patient and let the Lord guide us in the right direction.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we know You have told us to have patience. But there are times when we are tempted, and it becomes hard to show. It is a blessing to know that in the Word we can find the guidance we need to rest patiently and wait on You. You know what we need to do and how to do it. Thank You for being there for us and giving us the strength to endure.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
