We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 KJV
During life’s journey we try to find the power to resist and not be affected by some of the things happening around us. To resist any harmful influences that come our way.
As Christians, we will face many trials, but we can make it through them all.
Initially, there will be a struggle as we try to hold on with all our might to the promises God gives us.
We can make it when we learn to trust and lean on the Power of God.
Our strength is found in the Word.
Keep remembering that no matter the difficulties we face, we are not alone.
Each challenge brings us closer to the overflow of Divine Blessings that God has for us.
It’s like doing a workout in a gym where lifting weights is required to build your strength. There is usually someone there to help you.
The same holds true when we learn to face all difficulties. The more we stay in the Word, we grow stronger in faith. The Lord is always there to help us.
Not letting troubles, stress, confusion, or the way people treat us, hold us down (vv. 8-9).
The more we trust in God, the easier it is to turn our trials into a victory.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we learn that when we are troubled on every side, we don’t have to stress. When things get confusing, we are not to lose hope. When we are treated badly, You are by our side. We have our fears, but we are not destroyed. There is nothing that we face, that You have not already defeated. Thank You for helping us be triumphant in every situation in our lives.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
