Love is a feeling of deep affection. It can be shown in many ways.
Treating others in a loving manner is something the Lord desires for all of us to do.
It reflects the love He had and still has for us.
We may not understand why He loves us, but He does, and it is freely given.
Before Christ left the disciples, He gave them a new commandment.
They were to love each other for Christ’s sake, and according to His example.
God has poured out His love on us so we can show the same love to others.
The Lord has already paid the price for our sins and shown us love.
When we love as He commanded, others see it.
It shines through and identifies us as followers of Jesus Christ.
Being examples of His unexplainable, unconditional love.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, Thank You for showing us so much love. May we endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit. Loving one another with a pure heart.
