Strong Belief

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. Hebrews 11:27 KJV

Life can place us in some undesirable situations.

How we handle them is what makes the difference.

Moses’ parents, when he was born hid him for three months, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment (v.23).

Like many of us, his parents had a moment of unbelief and placed him in the waters, where he was found by Pharaoh’s daughter.

It was a blessing that God was pleased to overlook this transgression.

A blessing because He does the same for us.

Faith gives us strength against the sinful, characteristics of fear that comes upon us.

It helps us to give way to the will and power of God to work in our lives.

When Moses was come to years, he refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter (v.24).

Moses made his choice because he would rather suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season (v.25).

He stepped out in Faith.

Faith is what we all need to despise the things of this world.

To be fully sure of God’s providence, and of His gracious, powerful presence with us.

By Faith, the Spirit provides us the courage we need to keep going and to follow God’s leads in our lives.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, help us to keep our eyes on You and step out in Faith. Knowing that You are always there to protect, and guide us no matter the situation we find ourselves in. Thank You!

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
