Luke 21:36 KJV
Right now, all over the world, there is fear and unbelief.
“Watching and praying” is the only appropriate way to handle the many things we are facing in this current time.
Christ has told us, in His Word, what hard things we should suffer for His name’s sake.
He encourages us to stand fast through all our trials and temptations and to keep pressing forward in our work, in spite of the opposition we would meet with.
We cannot be safe, if we are carnally secure. We must be Spiritually Secure.
We must watch against sin and in everything we do, make the most of every opportunity to do good.
Praying always that we may be accounted worthy to live a life of praise in Heaven.
Great things can only happen if we would let all our concerns be channeled into prayer.
A WORD OF PRAYER
God we know You will stand by us, own us, and assist us no matter the situation. May we, each and every day, take heed to the Word. Obeying Your precepts, and following the examples that Christ has set before us. Knowing that that whenever You return for us, we need to be found watching and praying.
