Read: Luke 6:37-49
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. Luke 6:37 KJV
Many of us have heard the term” We agree to disagree.”
This is because of the differences in personalities.
Our history and knowledge of certain things can influence our points of view.
It does not mean that we are right, and the other person is wrong.
But it can sometimes lead to an unkind, ridged, and judgmental type situation if there is no agreement.
It is prayerfully not a situation that leads to sin, but one of just a difference of opinion or point of view.
Knowing that we are not to sit in judgement of one another.
The Savior has told us, “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven” (Luke 6:37 KJV).
We all know that what comes out of our mouths most often agrees with what is in our hearts.
This is why we all need to take care when sitting in judgment of others.
The Lord deals with situations in separate ways.
What worked for one of us may not be what works for someone else.
It is just like taking medicine.
Everything is not for everybody.
The Lord knows what is best for each of us.
Let us be thankful that He knows everything about us.
Treating us all with the same love and care.
The Lord desires that we have a giving and forgiving spirit.
That is where faith and salvation abound.
When we are kept by the power of Christ, we will never perish.
In the end we will all reap the benefits for our obedience to the Word.
It will happen when we take the course that is most beneficial for our lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, You have been so patient with us. We hear You speaking to us, but we do not always respond as we should. Help us understand we are not to sit in judgement of one another. How we all have our moments when we may be wrong in our thinking and our ways. That You are the only One who has the authority to judge. That Your judgment is out of love. Give us the grace to pray for one another. To show the same love You show to each of us.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
