Your Friendship with Him is the Best and Outstanding.

Read: Isaiah 40:3-5 KJV

(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us. 1 John 1:2 KJV

In our lifetime there will be someone that we really bond with.

We consider them our best friends.

It is an important relationship held throughout a person’s life span.

Our friendships here on earth hold significant importance in our fellowship.

And even when we part our ways, the memories still remain.

We meet new friends and have good times of fellowshipping.

In those times, we have our moments when we tell each other about some of our other friendships.

The greatest one of them being the one we have with the Lord.

Nothing can compare to the fellowship we have with Him.

That is how His followers felt after His resurrection and ascension to Heaven.

They had seen Him as they witnessed His wisdom and holiness.

All the miracles, love, and mercy He showed until the time of His crucifixion for the sins of the world.

How thereafter, His resurrection.

They touched Him and knew it was real.

They began to tell others about the time they had with Him.

They spoke on how “life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us.” (1 John 1:2 KJV).

They were declaring it so others might come to know and fellowship “with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ” (1 John 1:3 KJV).

There will be times when we feel that our witnessing to others about our faith in Christ can be frightening.

It sometimes feels like a duty that may become a worry and hard to deal with.

But because we are talking about a Friend that has made an enormous difference in our lives it comes easy.

We remind ourselves of how close we are to Him, and it helps us to see it in a more pleasing way.

When we witness to others about our friendship with Him there is hope.

Hope that more will desire to get to know Him as a friend too.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know there is nothing better than to be able to call someone or be called someone’s “friend.” To know someone cares. That is how we feel when we really saw that You were a “true friend.” Someone who cares and will be with us through it all. It is a joyful experience. One that we desire to tell others about. Giving them the chance to be just as happy. Thank You for the time we get to spend together.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
