Someone who stands up for you when others try to hurt you emotionally or physically, is a true friend.
They do everything they can to make sure you stay safe. Not caring who is trying to harm you, they will defend you anytime, anywhere.
Their loyalty is all about honesty, respect, and faithfulness. They show love to one another.
The Lord desires for us to be one of His friends. We just need to abide by His Word. Keep His commandments.
When we do, our obedience shows that we are being loyal.
We show the world that there is nothing that will keep us from standing up for the things of the Lord.
That He is our friend and, until the end, we will be honest, respectful, and faithful.
Showing Him love, as well as, love to one another.
We never have to worry about the Lord being a True Friend. He stands up for us, is honest respectful and faithful. Always showing us love.
Let us prove our loyal friendship to Him each and every day.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know that friendship means a lot. To have someone in our lives that is honest, respectful, faithful and full of love is the greatest thing to have. We are thankful that You desire to make us a friend. We will strive to keep Your commandments and be victorious in the end.
