Proven: Doing What’s Good – The Best Ways to Help

Read: Ephesians 4:25-28 / Proverbs 14:20-31

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Ephesians 4:28 KJV

Everyone in this world has a part to play in someone’s life.

To be a blessing financially is what society looks at the most.

We fail to realize that it does not take having an abundance of money to be a blessing to someone else.

Anyone who loves and seeks to help humanity in other ways is wealthy and a blessing in their own way.

That is what the Father desires from us.

The Apostle Paul told us to be compassionate and generous in our giving.

We are to take heed of any sinful actions that keep us from using all the talents that the Father has blessed us with.

That all our giving should be done from the heart.

Not to be ones that are done only for show.

That in all we do we must do it honestly.

How we are to work with our hands the things that are good.

Making it possible for us to give to them that are in need (Ephesians 4:28 KJV).

Nothing that we do should be done out of spite or just because it makes us look good.

We are never to forget that regardless of our income or social status, we all have something to give to others.

The Father is always supplying our needs.

And we know that it is not always monetary.

That is why we can help supply the needs of others.

That is why we should do it joyfully.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, in You we have all that we need. The love You have for us is shown in every area of our lives. Sin has no place in our lives. We are to show love and compassion to all. Your desire is that we share with others that are in need. Let us never forget that even the smallest thing we do for the Kingdom is a blessing.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
