Life doesn’t always warn us of the unforeseen experiences that are coming our way.
We wish it would.
It would be like the captain, on a flight, turning on the fasten seat belt light because the plane is about to run into some violent or unsteady movement of the air.
The seat belt helps us to be secure, so we can safely ride it out.
That is why our loving Father, who cares and knows about the struggles we will face, lets us know that we can bring our cares, hurts and fears to Him.
That He is there to help us through our conflicts and times of confusion.
There is nothing we will face in this world, that our Savior has not already faced and did not sin.
We are to come boldly to the throne of grace to receive the graces and mercies He desires to give us when we need them most.
No matter the season, going to the Father in prayer is the best thing we can do.
In His presence we can be “buckled” in peace because we are bringing our concerns to the One who is greater than it all.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, although we cannot anticipate the trials we will face in life, and it feels like it is too much for us to bear, those are the times we need to come to You in prayer. We know You fully understand and will help us through it all. Thank You for caring deeply about us.
