Revival – Awesome Breakthrough is What Happens When We Pray

Read: Psalms 85:1-7

Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Psalms 85:6 KJV

Somewhere, all around the world, a revival is needed.

There are many who want to recover from depression, their lack of strength and of their energy.

They want their happiness, strength, and energy to be brought back.

And just like the Psalmist they ask the Lord, “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” (Psalms 85:6).

The answer to the question is, “Yes.”

Churches hold revivals quite often.

They know the needs of those around them and desire to be there for them.

Knowing that the Lord has told us, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).

As wonderful as our fellowshipping with others is and what He desires, we can always take it upon ourselves to hold our own personal revivals as well.

The Lord is always listening to our confessions and our cries for help.

It is always good to take the time to talk with Him.

To listen with an open heart and get the answers to the questions at hand.

We all have sinned and at some point, with a need to express what we feel.

Taking the time to humbly pray is our way of acknowledging our sins, our seeking forgiveness, and a desire to rejoice when we have given them all to Him.

Praising Him for the refreshing Words that bring us relief.

For the Spiritual Healing we receive.

Revivals bring life to a soul that was lost.

A “Breath of Life” that comes sweeping through us.

Giving us the reason to rejoice in Him even more.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we all will have our moments of wanting to receive a refreshing Word that brings us back to favor in Your sight. We need a revival. The favor You provide is the fountain of all our happiness. We are thankful for how You forgive our sins and cover us in Your loving arms of protection. Thank You for always being there to revive us. We sing Hallelujah to Your name.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
