Successful – Reasons Why To Trust, Plan, Pray – Vision Victory

Read: Nehemiah 1:1-28

O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer. Nehemiah 1:11 KJV

Every day we have to make a decision about what we want to accomplish.

What our true goals are.

Checking to see if we have everything we need and if we don’t, how we will get them.

Seen or unseen, there will always be something.

The best laid plans come from the knowledge we obtain and put to use.

Wise planning and our humble dependence on God are the best ways to do anything we hope to achieve.

With planning we often look at what others have done to accomplish their goals.

Nehemiah is a good example of how to combine planning with prayer.

One of the best models we can follow.

You see, Nehemiah was a Jew that was far from home and working as a cupbearer to the King of Persia.

In this book of the Old Testament, is recorded the working of his heart.

About his management of public affairs.

How as an Israelite he had many reflections regarding his distress for the misery of Jerusalem.

He wanted to do good by them, but needed to know what was the best way to achieve it.

He had a plan but knew he needed to ask God questions on how to do things.

How once he put his trust in God, listened to his leading and continued to pray, things worked for his good.

How it worked for the good of the people.

We all have a desire to do some things to be a help to each other.

Be mindful that we should not be afraid to step out in faith.

To make a plan and ask questions.

And to always pray for God’s Divine guidance.

Especially when it concerns matters of the church, our faith and belief.

That is where our communication with God best prepares us for our dealing with others.

Provides us what we need to deal with any situations we may face.

Putting our trust in God frees our minds.

It gives us emotional satisfaction and helps rid ourselves of any difficulties.

Our humble dependence on Him is the best thing to do.

The best laid plans begin and end with God.

Each day let faith take  our common sense by the hand and listen as it tells us to trust, plan and pray.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, we know that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails most. Let our prayers always be based on the promises we find in the Word. They come from You, never fail and give us hope.  Our communion with You is what best prepares us to deal with others. We will make it our goal to trust, plan and pray for Your guidance. Thank You for being there for us.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
