And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV
The things in life can get so heavy that we feel like they will not get any lighter.
Those are the times we must remember that in our times of weakness and struggles, the Lord is on our side.
That sometimes we go through things to make us strong.
He has a plan for each of our lives.
We may not like or understand it all but know that God is in control of all things.
The Apostle Paul was facing a moment in his life.
How he was having visions and revelations that prevented him from being lifted.
How they were considered a “thorn in the flesh” (2 Corinthians 12:7 KJV).
He speaks about the method that God used to keep him humble.
That despite all he was going through he received the power of God’s divine grace.
There is power in our prayers and praise.
Showing us that no matter the need, the trial, our weaknesses, God’s grace is enough to get us through it all.
He always has a way of bringing the good out of evil.
His grace is sufficient, abundant, and true.
Prayer is the remedy to any thorns we encounter.
The more we pray and keep the faith, we get stronger.
God’s grace will always be the rhythm of life that keeps us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we know that grace is just one of the signs of the love You have for us. That the trouble we face only makes us stronger in prayer and increases our faith in You. We give You thanks because with everything we go through we find the strength, and comfort we need the more we put our trust in You. We can always count on Your sufficient grace.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
