What We Should Be Doing

Read: Galatians 6:11-17 KJV
But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. Galatians 6:14 KJV

We all know that there are some who refuse to accept the cross of Christ.

The fact that He died for our sins.

But it is also true that there are others who are not able to resist the inspiring conviction that He did it to save us.

So much so, they are not afraid to tell others about how much it has changed their lives.

The Apostle Paul was telling the people that Christ’s death was the only thing in life worth bragging about.

That the world was crucified to the believer and the believer to the world.

The fact that it was because of this, our desire to sin was cleansed with Divine Justice.

It was resolved with Divine Love.

The more we think about the sufferings of the Lord and all He has done for us, the less likely we are to love the things of this world.

The Savior was crucified and paid the penalties for our sins.

Our burdens are gone, and a large weight has been removed from our lives.

Let’s us glorify and praise Him for the love He has bestowed on us all.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, the more we think about the sufferings You endured for us the less likely we are to be in love with the things of the world. The more we learn about the love You have for us; we will have a change of mind and heart. Giving a reason to tell everyone of Your sacrifice and love for us. We will forever give You praise.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
