Better To Be Foolish/Weak Than Wise/Mighty

Read:  1 Corinthians 1:26-31

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. 1 Corinthians 1:27 KJV

Many have felt that because of their status in society, they cannot make an impact for God.

There are so many of us who do not know the Lord and all He has done for us.

So many feel that their praying, witnessing and their giving seems to be doing little to help change things.

The lives we touch for the good or bad will touch the life of another, and that in turn will touch another, until who knows where it stops.

We don’t know how far, in this world that the Lord will desire us to spread the Word.

He is not looking at our status in life.

All our lives are linked.

He knows what roles we play and what measures serve the purposes of His glory.

We are not to give up hope that someone will receive the Word.

Don’t’ forsake what He has called us to do.

We never know how the few souls we touch will touch others, who in turn will touch others.

God uses us in our weakness and smallness to accomplish His far-reaching purposes (1 Corinthians 1:26-31 NIV).

Remember, no deed is small when it is done for Christ.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that You did not choose us based on our earthly status. You chose us because You wanted someone that was not ashamed of the gospel and the grace and peace it brings. Spreading it to persons of every rank. Doing it because we all stand in the need of pardoning grace. Thank You for allowing us to represent the Kingdom.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
