Best Directions

Read: Psalms 143:4-11

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. Psalms 143:8 KJV

Through our life experiences we gain knowledge.

From our experiences we become more aware of things.

Things that show us which directions we should or should not take in life.

We can even learn more when we hear about how others handled similar situations.

David is an example of a man who describes what and how he handled his life experiences.

In Psalms 145, he tells us about one of those moments when he felt he was lost spiritually and emotionally.

His heart was dismayed (v.4).

He found himself in trouble (v.11).

How he paused and prayed, asking God to show him the way he should go (v.8).

He did it because he knew that he could entrust his life to Him (v.8).

For any of us, it can be difficult, but with the Lord as our guide we can do it.

Prayer is the key, and our faith unlocks the door to great knowledge and wisdom.

Turning to God is our best source for the directions we need.
