O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. Psalms 95:1-2 KJV
It is not uncommon to hear someone speak of a hardship.
We all go through them.
Some of us even set aside a time to fast and pray asking the Lord for help and guidance.
But when we do, let us remember that, yes, we can tell him about what we are going through, but don’t dwell on them.
Take the time to focus on your blessings.
We have progressed and are still progressing in many areas of our lives.
The harvest is becoming more abundant each day when we thank Him for what is and is to come.
We know that here in the United States we just celebrated Thanksgiving Day.
Let us make every day a great day of Thanksgiving.
I encourage you, wherever you are, to take the time to praise the Lord for His many blessings.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, whenever we come into Your presence, we should be coming with a praise of thanksgiving. For the many days of peace. How you have blessed us with what we need, not just want we want. May we all take the time to pause and think about it and realize that every day is a day of Thanksgiving.
